Food is great flavor, everything chicken and birria sopes were very good. Pasta, rice, coleslaw, beans and flour and corn tortillaa

I always see the smoke coming from the parking lot and think "I have to try this spot some day". This is one of those places you can tell the food is cooked with love and heart. Yummy grilled chicken with excellent service. I can see why this place has so many regulars. You're treated like family when you walk in! Affordable and quick meal. A great option for when you don't want to cook. Most people ordered their food for takeout but we actually dined in.

I called and ordered for pick up thinking this was the chicken joint round the corner of my house. I took a second look on my way to the shop when I realized I called a different El pollo shop. My GPS took me to a nondescript building which was barely lit and has a smoking grill just in front of its restaurant. Got off the car and the delicious smell of grilled chicken just enveloped me. Went in and was greeted by the owner, Rafael. Chatted a bit about his restaurant and I was on my way with some delicious charcoal grilled chicken and crunchy chicken tacos, a piece of tres leches cake. The chicken was superb! Very flavorful. And even more, the crunchy chicken tacos! First time I had them and I inhaled them! So good! There were 3 choices of sauces that came with the grilled chicken - the usual mild, medium and hot varieties of salsa. They have more than the charcoal grilled chicken to offer. There's all kinds of Birria - fries, ramen, nachos, tortas, sopes and even pizza! Need to try those in the coming days. This will be a go-to for delicious charcoal grilled chicken.

Whenever I drive by this place off Mountain Vista and Russell, the smell of freshly grilled chicken is almost intoxicating. This isn't your ordinary chicken shop. They have someone outside grilling the meat, and the chicken has great flavors of seasonings and char. Customer service was fair, but the tables were dirty and we had to ask the cashier to wipe the tables. She proceeded to come and spray the tables down with bleach water, and I had to move out of the way so as not to get sprayed by the mixture. There are not many decorations inside, and about 6 or 7 tables. Two 3-piece combos will set you back $24. The combos do not include a drink. Tasty chicken, beans were average and the rice was plenty flavorful, almost a chicken bouillon type seasoning. Will be back!

I religiously go to this place once a week and get their chicken combo, it is the most amazing family restaurant and the staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they put love and care into their food

bomb ass pozole ! meat falling from the bone type and the burrito wasn't bad at alllll , this place is lowkey hidden. I didn't see it till I saw the smoke from outside the store. they also make their chicken fresh quality. also the cashier was really friendly!

Pollos El Dorado is one of my favorite taquerias in Las Vegas. Their grilled mesquite charcoal chicken is divine, and it's my go to option whenever I'm in Henderson for the holidays and missing the authentic Southern barbecue that I grew up on in the 'Sip. Their crunchy chicken tacos are also packed with flavor and are another solid menu item. The service here is exceptional. I'm actually treated like family by at least one staff member or customer whenever I come. The restaurant is casual and unassuming and sits right on the border of Henderson and East Las Vegas.

Flavor was amazing. Juicy not dry. Got a 3pc with rice beans and one chicken crunch taco WHICH I COULD EAT 10 OF. The man at the register was so nice. Great pricing. Would definitely come back.

After hearing about Pollos El Dorado from family, we were on a hunt for some home made feel food after grocery shopping. We were down the street and decided to stop by and see what they had to offer. I wasn't expecting to wait about 20 minutes for 2 whole chickens, 16 pieces total. We decided to have a taco each while we waited and relax since we hadn't ate, and boy were we surprised. Their tacos were so good, we could have ordered more but we chose not to since we came for the chicken! The staff was nice, quick and made sure they got our order right. The cook was outside being a baddy in the heat making our chicken, and the chicken came out in the time they promised! The price is worth it, the food is fresh, the green salsa is amazing. They also have a decent variety in their menu and it should be on your list to try. Come give it a shot for dine in, or pick up, you won't be disappointed! The restaurant wasn't too busy when we walked in, but it started to get busy while we were waiting and also when we walked out. The cashier and cook in the back communicated well, the establishment was clean and so was the bathroom. It is small, but it is mighty!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Pollos El Dorado is an unassuming taqueria in a nondescript plaza on eastbound Russell Ave just before Mountain Vista. I've passed by it plenty of times without stopping, so when I was asked by my friend to take him from Henderson to the airport, I saw this location in my Yelp Bookmarks and knew that it was just off the route. I went with a bunch of tacos. Most of them were $3.00, but the quesabirria was $4.50. It was certainly worth it after I noticed how airy the outer tortilla was. They did make me ladle on the onion and cilantro myself, and it was essential in adding the ubiquitous flavors. I didn't get a consomé and I didn't ask, assuming that it'd be at an additional cost. Fortunately, it wasn't especially needed. I did order one each of all of the other tacos. The tortillas were cooked enough via grilling without having been soaked in oil, which made them less greasy on the fingers. The mild tomatillo salsa was balanced and made a great complement to every protein, and the lime was sufficient even though some wedges were a little dry. Out of the meats, the pollo was a surprising favorite due to the grill flavor and the large portion. The cabeza was also great, with fatty bits and rich beefiness. The al pastor was solid for a non-pineapple style, and the buche was pretty tender. The asada was surprisingly the blandest and most boring out of their proteins. I also appreciated the service. What I assume was a father-daughter duo up front handled everything well, including making sure whether we wanted cilantro and onions on everything, refilling the empty salsa station, and assuring us that we weren't overstaying their closing time since they were still cleaning up. Pollos El Dorado is now on my list of Henderson-ish go-to taquerias after this visit. I'll be back sooner than later.
